The path
Where she comes from.
Four bearings, drawn in order. Foundation in 2008, Deloitte in 2011, fintech — then the studio that holds the north.
-
01 · 2008
Foundation
She completed a degree in marketing in 2008 — the first training in how a business is understood, and how it is not. She grew through the industry from there, until that path brought her to Deloitte in 2011.
-
02 · 2011
Deloitte
She joined as marketing manager for Deloitte in KwaZulu-Natal. She developed and ran the regional marketing plan across service lines and industries, working with the Office Managing Partner and leadership team. She project-managed client events and thought leadership, wrote for internal and external channels, kept the brand consistent, and held every activity to a deadline, a budget, and a return.
-
03
Fintech
She then worked within fintech firms to build their brand and presence — companies that move quickly, and cannot afford to be misunderstood.

Stellar Grey
From that path she founded Stellar Grey: a studio to empower South African brands and bring them into this era.
The vision
A country of businesses that deserve to be met as they are.
South Africa is full of companies that are further along than their websites suggest. Capable. Current. Still introduced in yesterday’s language — so the first impression does the business a disservice before anyone has spoken.
Chiselle’s vision is not to dress a company up as something else. It is to return the brand to the people who built it, and give it the authority to stand in the rooms it already belongs in.
Empowerment
The brand should do the talking.
Empowerment, here, is practical. A look that holds. A site that does not apologize. A first impression that puts a South African business on equal terms with anyone it wants to work with — locally, or further afield.
Too many brands here have outgrown how they are seen. The work is excellent. The surface the world still meets is not. Stellar Grey exists to close that distance, so customers, partners, and talent meet the company as it actually is.
That is the shift she wants for this market: businesses no longer waiting to be taken seriously, because their presence has already made the case.
The studio
She now heads Stellar Grey.
The brief is the same one she has carried for years: make the outside equal to the inside. Empower the brand. Bring South African businesses into the era they already occupy.
